How fun is this ad for Robinson’s Be Natural – a British soft drink.  I covet the bird’s house…so cool!

I love David Lynch. He and his work fascinate me. So when I recently discovered that he does the LA weather on his website, well of course I started tuning in. The hair. The voice. The meteorological wisdom. What’s not to love? And it was through those web broadcasts that I discovered what may be my favorite project of David’s to date –  the Interview Project.  The idea behind the Interview Project is a simple one – David’s team (his son Austin and a friend) is traveling from one side of America to the other and back again conducting brief interviews with those who happen to catch their interest along the way. The intent is for the team to post a new video every three days for the next year. The resulting videos offer a fascinating look into the lives and struggles of those living primarily on the margins, far removed from the idealized “american dream”.  I highly recommend checking it out.
