Happy halloween everyone – today is the big day! My final halloween post is going to be about the most important aspect of any halloween celebration – the pumpkin. I have two really great pumpkins that I bought yesterday for me and the boy to carve, but now I’m starting to rethink. Apartment Therapy posted about these fabulous sparkly pumpkins spotted on a doorstep in the West Village – taking a Martha Stewart Crafts idea to a whole new level. I do love anything even vaguely disco – and so now I’m pondering the whole “disco pumpkin” front step idea. What do you think?

This was my experience last year handing out candy – every girl was a princess and almost every boy was spiderman. I found it pretty comical. However, I am not one to criticize anyone on their lack of halloween costume inventiveness –  as I am completely costume-challenged (and admittedly will do just about anything to avoid dressing up!). Imagine my delight then at finding this helpful little tool designed by GS Design to assist you in finding the perfect halloween costume. The set consists of two multi-sided dice. The one die lists nouns, while the other lists adjectives. Roll them together and you have the possibility of 400 different halloween costume ideas. Never again will you suffer from a lack of inspiration when “zombie jesus” is just a dice-throw away!
