I love everything about this little stop-motion animation from Denmark’s The Animation Workshop – the look, the feel, the music – and I adored the ending. The film is the brainchild of Tobias Gundorff Boesen with animation assistance from Katrine Killerich, Frederick Villumsen and Christophe Peladen. Oh and the song is “Slow Show” by The National – enjoy!

So are you going to go see Alice in Wonderland? Well, if you can’t make it to the theatre you should at least check this out. It’s the first ever film made of Alice in Wonderland – dating back to 1903. The British Film Institute has restored it (as much as possible) and released it for viewing – it’s silent and only 9 minutes in length – and is just very, very cool.

Blacksmith and artist, Erica Gordon makes amazing hand forged belt buckles and hand dyed belts – and, not only that, she does it in a conscientious and sustainable way. So amazing!

I am absolutely in love with the recycled bike tube belt with the multifont buckle pictured below. Be sure to check out her site – Steeltoe Studios – where you can mix and match your own buckle and belt to order (or even design them for your kids) and also check out some of her other work.
